Japanese restaurant menu

The client asked me to design the menu in a simple design because they are a high-class Japanese restaurant in Hong Kong (Expensive restaurant) so they want the menu looks more trustful, serious and high class. Too many illustrations may make the menu looks more like general or typical Japanese restaurant so it doesn't seem like a high class/expensive restaurant. Normally, the restaurants that targeting high-class people, their menu usually just contain texts because it looks more professional. Therefore, when I make the design, I have to consider the layout carefully, it can't have too many illustrations.
