What is Wayfinding?
The simplest definition of wayfinding is the Navigation from place to place which can show you the direction, where are you or where are you heading to. The main function of wayfinding is to inform people of the surroundings in the build environment so that it can help to guide people to a right direction.
To be an effective wayfinding system, it has to based on human behavior. It shouldn't make them think which mean the system should be comprehensive, clear and consistent visual communication system with simple messaging. Also, an effective wayfinding system should only show what is needed, Show information which relevant to the space, location and navigation path.
