Inspiration

  I looked at a website of a Taiwanese designer works, I quite like his simple design style, it looks attractive.

  The designer is call Wang, Zhi-Hong, he is A leading graphic designer based in Taiwan and a member of Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) since 2015. He was born in 1975 in Taipei and graduated from Fu-Hsin Trade and Art School in 1995. Afterward, he started his own studio in 2000 and offering design solutions in fields of publication, art, architecture, film and music.

The major prizes he won: 

1. Tokyo TDC Annual Awards, Excellent Works. 2009, 2012-2014 & 2017, Japan
2. Paju Book Award, Best Book Design. 2014, South Korea
3. Golden Butterfly Award, Golden Award. 2005, 2008-2009 & 2012, Taiwan
4. HKDA Global Design Awards, Silver Awards. 2011, Hong Kong
5. HKDA Asia Design Awards, Kaoru Kasai’s Choice Award. 2009, Hong Kong

  I was inspired by this work, it is his hand drawn characters for a book cover design. I really like this design because it used different thickness to form a character which is very interesting so I also want to make something like this in my design, probably using different geometric shapes such as square or triangle.
