Places that usually occur discrimination

  Even though discrimination may occur in everywhere from the world, however, there are some places that discrimination usually happened.

1:Workplace
  Workplace is one of the common places where we may have to face discrimination. The effects of discrimination in the workplace are severe. For example, someone may not get a promotion at work due to the fact that having an association with a particular group.

2:Housing

  Lots of people complain about the unfair behaviour of the landlords and housing officials. People may also face it if they live in a rented place. These people may come up with stupid reasons to help intolerable people live with them on the same floor or place. They may discriminate against someone due to their association with a different group. However, this may not happen to students normally.

3:Public places

  The most serious place that discrimination usually take place. We may often hear the news of disrespectful treatment of the people by a group. It may happen in the public places such as market, hospitals, and sports facilities. People may direct wrong words to others, such as saying bad words to others. Moreover, they may avoid someone just because they are not same as them, e.g skin colour, religion, language, etc.

4:Politics/ Voting

  In many countries, some group of people may not have the right to vote or may disenfranchise. Things may turn out this way because they belong to particular religion, society or culture. But again, it is not happening to a student.

5:Access to funds or credit

  People often face discrimination when it comes to getting funds or credit. If they come from backward or low-income family, they may have to deal with the same. 

6:Law or police

  Law and police are also not behind when it comes to discriminating against the people. They may treat someone differently due to their religion or culture. They may also have a problem with their skin colour or dress often.

7:Travel or tourism

  Moreover, some foreigner may not get a visa or may face harassment from the security officials at the airport. Or they may not treat to those foreigners in the right way. It always happen to foreigner students when they are travelling especially if there is an Asian student travel to Europe countries.
