Initial ideas of studio brief3

At the beginning, we decided the brand guideline was the Lca shape and colours so  I was thinking to make the invites with LCA logo shape, level4 of graphic design and the entrance, window and the building of Leeds Central Library. However, after a crit, we changed the brand guideline to blue and the RAUM logo because we thought it may be too common if we designed with LCA, we thought other groups may do the same.

We chose to use univers and Caslon because it's creates a contrast of old and new - which relates to the exhibition because all the prints are from different times. Basically, the line between the “RA” and “UM” represents the timeline. It fits with the wayfinding as our wayfinding was the same idea, showing the timeline apart from the direction.
